CNR Celebrates the International Day of Women and Girls in Science in Naples
February 11, 2025
Riccardo Meucci named 2025 Optica Fellow
February 18, 2025On February 18, 2025, at 2:30 PM, the conference hall of the Napoli 3 Research Area will host an event dedicated to Quantum Mechanics and its application in the game QTris.
QTris is an innovative version of the classic Tic-Tac-Toe, where the rules have been modified to represent the axioms of Quantum Mechanics, the set of laws governing the preparation, evolution, and measurement of quantum states. Each QTris square corresponds to a two-level quantum system, a qubit, allowing players to experiment with concepts such as superposition, entanglement, and quantum state evolution.
The seminar and game session will be led by Prof. Alioscia Hamma and Dr. Michela Nazzaro from the University of Naples Federico II, offering a unique opportunity to explore the world of Quantum Mechanics in an interactive and engaging way.
📍 Location: Conference Hall, Napoli 3 Research Area, Floor -1, Building A, Ex Olivetti Complex, Via Campi Flegrei 34, Pozzuoli (NA), Italy
📅 Date & Time: February 18, 2025, at 2:30 PM
The event is organized as part of the Quantum Treks initiative.
