The Quantum Cascade Laser Turns 30 Years Old
August 30, 2024The 2024 Fermi Prize for optical microscopy in biology
September 17, 2024We are pleased to announce is the QLR_Net event on “Universal & critical dynamics of quantum many-body systems”, 16-18 September, Trieste organised by Nicolò Defenu (senior researcher at CNR-INO Trieste), awarded with the prestigious ERC STG Grant “Quantum Long-Range Networks”.
The “Universal & Critical Dynamics of Quantum Many-Body Systems” meeting is a collaborative gathering focused on exploring the latest developments in the study of quantum many-body systems.
The event brings together young researchers and experts in the Trieste Area to discuss the universal behaviours, critical dynamics, and emergent phenomena in quantum systems, aiming to deepen the understanding of complex quantum interactions and their potential applications in areas such as condensed matter physics, quantum computing, and statistical mechanics.
Special thanks to Prof. Trombettoni, University of Trieste, for supporting and hosting the event’s organisation.
The meeting will take place in the main Campus of the University of Trieste in room F of the G building, Piazzale Europa, 1 on Sept. 16 to 18.
