CNR-INO is among the CNR institutes in the Campania region—part of the Campania Outreach Network (CREO)—participating in the Ernest Project EU. This is an EU-funded collaborative project under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions that coordinates a series of interactive, science-themed escape rooms.

The project aims to create engaging experiences for the general public, bringing science closer to society and sparking young people’s interest in research.

The event will take place on Friday, September 25, in Naples as part of European Researchers’ Night, involving a network of Italian and European cities alongside the CREO-affiliated CNR institutes in Campania.

The CNR institutes, including INO, will present the “In Search of Lost Balance” escape room. This experience will challenge visitors with a series of puzzles devised by a multidisciplinary team of researchers specializing in biology, mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
The central theme of the experience is the relationship between humanity and the environment, and the need to restore Earth’s balance.
Each session will last a maximum of 45 minutes and accommodate between 4 and 10 participants.
