The 3rd edition of the Biophotonics and Artificial Intelligence School (BPAI 2025) will take place from February 17 to 21, 2025.

The event is organized by the Biosensori Ottici e Biofotonica working group of the Società Italiana di Ottica e Fotonica (SIOF), in collaboration with the School on Artificial Intelligence in Health for People Well-being (SchAI).

Why Attend BPAI 2025?

This international school focuses on the convergence of Biophotonics and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Biophotonics harnesses advanced tools for chemical and biological detection and biomedical imaging, generating highly complex datasets. AI, through innovative paradigms like Machine Learning and Deep Learning, reveals hidden patterns within these datasets, fostering new theoretical and experimental insights.

Participants will gain hands-on training and insights into the latest advancements, applications, and interdisciplinary collaborations within these rapidly evolving fields.

Who Should Attend?

The school is tailored for master’s students, PhD candidates, research fellows, post-docs, and researchers from universities, public research institutions, and private laboratories worldwide.
