The innovative thulium amplifier is designed for multi kW average powers, pulse durations of less than 100 fs and pulse repetition frequencies at kHz. These characteristics make it an ideal tool for enhancing manufacturing processes, for the industrial treatment of materials in the field of large industry. The biomedical field is certainly the other main application of this amplifier, for innovative theranostic approaches.

Stage of development: TRL 3. The technology lends itself to co-design development with respect to the reference industrial process.
