The Quantum Gases Group in Trento observed for the first time the breaking of a magnetic interface in a mixture of sodium atoms and the emergence of a novel kind of spin waves.

The research is now published in Nature Physics. The observation results from a collaboration between Cnr-Ino, University of Trento and TIFPA-INFN within the Quantum at Trento (Q@TN) initiative.
