Seminar: Spin-resolved microscopy of doped Hubbard systems

23-25 October 2018
The main goal of this workshop is to quantitatively discuss the various applications which the proposed ESA Far-infrared Outgoing Radiation Understanding and Monitoring (FORUM) mission may be able to contribute to. Uniquely, FORUM will measure top of atmosphere nadir radiances in the far-infrared part of the spectrum, covering a total spectral range of 100-1600 cm-1.
FORUM will fly in close formation with Metop-SG allowing synergistic observations with IASI-NG, providing, for the first time, measurements of the full, radiatively important, outgoing longwave radiation spectrum. It is anticipated that the mission will provide an improved characterisation of atmospheric water vapour profiles, ice and mixed-phase clouds, surface emissivity, and the Earth Radiation Budget.
The workshop will help the FORUM team to improve the scientific readiness of the mission. You will find further details about the workshop on our website:
