Applied spectroscopy for industrial, medical and environmental gas monitoring
April 27, 2024Tech&Transf seminars at CNR-INO: the impact of very high resolution biophotonics
April 30, 2024Partecipanti This year at the Physics Museum of the Natural and Physical Sciences Museum Center of Naples, the Quantum Treks began, excursions among the fascinating and little-known paths of quantum mechanics with various levels of difficulty and based on playful laboratories, board games, events and exhibitions. Quantum Treks were designed for students and science enthusiasts who want to discover how modern quantum technologies work. “hikers” discover the fascinating aspects of quantum mechanics and the mechanisms of quantum devices, from the first lasers up to the very fast quantum computer. Among the various activities during the Quantum Treks we celebrated World Quantum Day with an event dedicated to all lovers of “playing” with the la Ludoteca Quantistica on April 13, 2024.
Furthermore, on April 15, 2024, we continued the celebrations of World Quantum Day, with an event dedicated to university students, doctoral students and researchers.
The day began with an OPTICA lecture by Faezeh Gholami, Senior IBM Quantum Ambassador, followed by Costanza Toninelli of the National Institute of Optics of the CNR, winner of the prestigious ERC grant consolidator. We listened to presentations on Research Highlight of the NQSTI partnership, National Institute of Quantum Science and Technology.
The event was organized by the National Institute of Optics (CNR-INO) and the Institute of Applied Sciences and Intelligent Systems (CNR-ISASI) together with the Institute for Superconductors, Innovative Materials and Devices (CNR-SPIN), the Department of Physics of the University of Naples Federico II, the PONYS association and the Museum Center of Natural and Physical Sciences with the collaboration of Photon Technolgy Co., Ltd. (Photec) and the INFN Section of Naples.
