April 8, 2024CNR-INO organises a free Online Training on End-user spectroscopy for food quality assessment.
The training will be held on May 14th, 2024 at 10.00 CET by our Researcher dr. Pietro Malara.
Several domains of science, from chemistry to optics and electrical engineering, have developed methods dedicated to the quality assessment of food and beverages. These methods have been for years exclusive domain of advanced laboratories, as technology wasn’t sufficiently mature for field operation.
Today, as the availability of miniaturized instrumentation grows at an astonishing rate, food analysis can be brought out of the labs and directly at the production lines.
We will discuss a food assessment method sufficiently user-friendly and inexpensive that it could be carried out, in the future, directly at home by the end user.
The training is organised in the framework of the project PhotonHub Europe.
PhotonHub has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Grant Agreement n. 101016665, in Public Private Partnership with Photonics21.
