The journal Physics of Plasmas has published a Special Topic collection of invited papers on &#8220;Plasmonics and solid state plasmas&#8221; in order to &#8220;to bridge the gap between plasmas and plasmonics&#8221; (from G. Manfredi&#8217;s editorial).
