The lectures included in the volume &#8220;Lectures on Ultrafast Intense Laser Science 1\u201d cover a wide range of subjects in ultrafast intense laser science such as fundamentals of atomic and molecular dynamics in intense laser fields, experimental and theoretical approaches to controlling molecular behavior<br \/>\nand chemical reaction in intense laser fields, high-order harmonic generation, filamentation processes, quantum emission and X-ray emission from a solid target by the irradiation of intense laser light, and laser\u2013matter interaction in the ultra-intense regime.
