This year, <strong data-start=\"326\" data-end=\"337\">CNR-INO<\/strong> will participate with a rich and engaging program, with our researchers involved in activities both in <strong data-start=\"441\" data-end=\"449\">Pisa<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"454\" data-end=\"464\">Naples<\/strong>.<\/h5>\n<h5><strong style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Pisa \u2013 BRIGHT 2025<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p data-start=\"498\" data-end=\"754\">The traditional Pisa edition of Researchers\u2019 Night, <strong data-start=\"554\" data-end=\"564\">BRIGHT<\/strong>, this year is part of the celebrations for the <strong data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"665\">25th anniversary of the CNR Research Area in Pisa<\/strong>, with a three-day program (September 24\u201326) involving schools, citizens, and visitors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"758\" data-end=\"1296\">The mornings of September 24, 25, and 26 will be dedicated to <strong data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"831\">schools<\/strong>, with seminars, Bright-Tech Talks, and open laboratories. Among these, we highlight the talk by <strong>CNR-INO researcher Gabriele Bandini<\/strong>, who on September 25 will present <em data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1083\">\u201cTravelling with Accelerators: what will the radiotherapy of the future look like?\u201d<\/em>, explaining how particle accelerators are built and why they can be used to treat patients, tracing their technological development up to today\u2019s cutting-edge research and future applications in cancer therapy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1300\" data-end=\"1454\">On the <strong data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1336\">afternoon of September 26<\/strong>, the Research Area will open to the general public, with a program featuring CNR-INO researchers in several activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1459\" data-end=\"1577\"><strong data-start=\"1459\" data-end=\"1486\">Visit to the Superlaser<\/strong> at the ILIL laboratory (reservation required: <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/46bhNww\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1533\" data-end=\"1573\">bit.ly\/46bhNww<\/a>);<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1582\" data-end=\"1712\"><strong data-start=\"1582\" data-end=\"1616\">Optics experiments in the dark<\/strong>, also suitable for children (reservation required: <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/4n7nFwT\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1668\" data-end=\"1708\">bit.ly\/4n7nFwT<\/a>);<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1717\" data-end=\"1780\">The <strong data-start=\"1721\" data-end=\"1744\">Science Toy Library<\/strong>, in collaboration with SMA-UNIPI;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1785\" data-end=\"1975\">Two science games: <em data-start=\"1804\" data-end=\"1812\">Watson<\/em>, the \u201cScrabble of the elements\u201d based on the periodic table, and <em data-start=\"1878\" data-end=\"1886\">Quanto<\/em>, a card game of varying difficulty levels exploring the principles of quantum physics;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1785\" data-end=\"1975\">Demonstrations of <strong data-start=\"1998\" data-end=\"2036\">laser-driven particle accelerators<\/strong> and other small laser-based experiments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finally, starting at 7:30 pm (weather permitting), participants will have the chance to observe <strong data-start=\"2179\" data-end=\"2239\">Saturn and its rings, as well as other celestial objects<\/strong>, through a telescope (reservation required: <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/4ml8Buj\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"2284\" data-end=\"2324\">bit.ly\/4ml8Buj<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2330\" data-end=\"2452\">The full program of events in Pisa is available at: <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/nottedeiricercatori.pisa.it\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"2382\" data-end=\"2449\">nottedeiricercatori.pisa.it<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Naples \u2013 CREO Games<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2484\" data-end=\"2659\">On the same day, September 26, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, <strong data-start=\"2541\" data-end=\"2571\">Piazza Municipio in Naples<\/strong> will host the <strong data-start=\"2586\" data-end=\"2600\">CREO Games<\/strong>, promoted by the <strong data-start=\"2618\" data-end=\"2648\">CNR Campania REte Outreach<\/strong> network.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2661\" data-end=\"2763\">Visitors, both young and old, will be able to step into the shoes of real scientists for an evening:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2766\" data-end=\"2807\">Exploring stands and collecting stamps;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2766\" data-end=\"2807\">Solving puzzles and trying out experiments;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2766\" data-end=\"2807\">Taking part in scientific activities, from quizzes on longevity to optical illusions, and from learning about cells to defending the planet by reducing our carbon footprint.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3035\" data-end=\"3167\">At the end of the journey, the <strong data-start=\"3066\" data-end=\"3080\">Photo Boot<\/strong> will reveal what type of scientist you are, with a special surprise waiting for you.
