As part of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ), the Quantum Treks 2025<\/em> will kick off on Thursday, April 3rd at the Physics Museum of the Center of Natural and Physical Sciences Museums of Naples.<\/p>\n Following the success of last year\u2019s edition, the initiative returns with an even richer and more engaging program. Quantum Treks<\/em> are real excursions into the world of quantum mechanics, designed to bring students, researchers, companies, and science enthusiasts closer to modern quantum technologies. The experience unfolds along paths with different levels of difficulty, featuring interactive labs, board games, events, exhibitions, and educational and scientific displays.<\/p>\n We are living in the era of the second quantum revolution \u2014 a remarkable time in which technologies like quantum computing and quantum cryptography are transforming the way we think about science and innovation. During the activities, participants will explore the principles of quantum mechanics and their surprising real-world applications.<\/p>\n Quantum Treks 2025<\/em> activities are structured into three difficulty levels, making them accessible to a broad audience:<\/p>\n Level 1: middle school students<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Level 2: high school students<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Level 3: university students<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Additionally, special events will be held to celebrate World Quantum Day (WQD)<\/em> \u2014 a unique opportunity to deepen our understanding of the role of quantum physics in today’s world.<\/p>\n Quantum Treks 2025<\/em> is hosted by the Physics Museum of the Center of Natural and Physical Sciences Museums (CMSNF) and coordinated by the National Institute of Optics (CNR-INO), organized in collaboration with the Institute of Applied Sciences and Intelligent Systems (CNR-ISASI), the Institute for Superconductors, Innovative Materials and Devices (CNR-SPIN), and the Physics Museum, with support from the Department of Physics of the University of Naples Federico II, the PONYS Association, the National Quantum Science and Technology Institute (NQSTI), Photon Technology Co.
