Optica Fellows are selected based on several factors, including outstanding contributions to research, business, education, engineering, and service to Optica and our community.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"zfr3q\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Riccardo Meucci, emeritus researcher of the National Institute of Optics, was named for pioneering contributions to chaos in lasers, infrared holography, and its applications.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"zfr3q\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cI am honored to be named an Optica Fellow for 2025\u201d Riccardo Meucci says \u201cA heartfelt thank you to my colleagues and collaborators for their support over the years.
