{"id":24972,"date":"2025-01-16T09:58:35","date_gmt":"2025-01-16T08:58:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ino.cnr.it\/?p=24972"},"modified":"2025-01-16T15:40:12","modified_gmt":"2025-01-16T14:40:12","slug":"premio-della-nasa-per-la-campagna-di-misura-acclip-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ino.cnr.it\/?p=24972","title":{"rendered":"NASA Award for ACCLIP Measurement Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Team which developed the instrument COLD2 (Carbon Oxide Laser Detector 2), composed of Marco Barucci, Giovanni Bianchini, Francesco D\u2019Amato, Alessio Montori and Silvia Viciani took part to the measurement Campaign <a href=\"https:\/\/espo.nasa.gov\/acclip\">ACCLIP<\/a> (Asian Summer Monsoon Chemical &#038; CLimate Impact Project), carried out during summer 2022 onboard the NASA stratospheric aircraft WB-57, based in Osan, South Korea.<br \/>\nThe scientific and technical Team involved in this Campaign was selected to receive the prestigious NASA Group Achievement Award, with the motivation: \u201cFor outstanding achievements of the Asian Summer Monsoon Chemical &#038; CLimate Impact Project (ACCLIP)\u201d.<br \/>\nThe execution of this campaign faced numerous challenges, including relocating bases, navigating COVID-19 restrictions, dealing with 1-in-100-year floods, and overcoming other logistical hurdles.
