The Italian National Institute of Optics (CNR-INO) and Visia Lab Srl are pleased to announce the start of their collaboration and the establishment of a Joint-Lab intended for collaborative research activities in the field of Digital Pathology within the Arcetri (Florence) headquarters of CNR-INO.<\/p>\n
The joint laboratory merges the skills of the CNR-INO research group in advanced optics, electro-optics and artificial intelligence and those of Visia Lab in image acquisition and processing for laboratory diagnostics (IVD) and in robotics applied to the instrumental automation of the medical-clinical laboratory.<\/p>\n
The main objective will be the creation of new optical solutions combined with electro-optical systems and new IT methods for data processing and sharing in order to increase the performance of current diagnostic systems.<\/p>\n
Both parties are confident that this collaboration will lead to important medical and scientific achievements useful for the health system and for the community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
