Jacopo Catani.<br \/>\nHe will give an overview on <strong>basic concepts of optical wireless communication (OWC) technology<\/strong>, focusing on <strong>application exploiting ordinary LED sources for simultaneous transmission of data and illumination (VLC)<\/strong>. He will describe the building bocks in VLC technology, as well as a discussion on <strong>recent achievements in different application scenarios<\/strong>, ranging from Intelligent Transportation systems (ITS) to indoor applications.
