{"id":20163,"date":"2022-10-13T10:43:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-13T08:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=20163"},"modified":"2024-08-21T09:40:36","modified_gmt":"2024-08-21T07:40:36","slug":"quantum-communication-applications-a-photonhub-europe-demo-centre-organised-by-cnr-ino-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ino.cnr.it\/?p=20163","title":{"rendered":"Quantum Communication Applications: a PhotonHub Europe Demo Centre organised by CNR-INO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 18th, 2022 CNR-INO organises a <strong>Demo Centre on Quantum Communication Applications<\/strong> in the framework of the project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.photonhub.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PhotonHub Europe<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8216;hands-on&#8217; seminar will take place in Florence, in the historical site <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Villa_Il_Gioiello\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Villa Il Gioiello<\/a> (aka Villa Galileo), where Galileo Galilei lived from 1633 until his death.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The course targets a broad audience and mainly producers oriented to produce\/exploit novel photonic technologies for security and communication.<\/strong> Basic knowledge of quantum mechanics is not required but knowing in advance the attendees\u2019 background will help us to opportunely adapt the course.<\/p>\n<p>The programme includes:<br \/>\n&#8211; Tutorials on Quantum Communication, Quantum Key Distribution and Entanglement distribution<br \/>\n&#8211; Practical Quantum Communication training<br \/>\n\u2013 State of the art on Quantum Key Distribution<br \/>\n\u2013 Quantum Key Distribution \u2013 BB84 (hands-on demo \u2013 over free-space link)<br \/>\n\u2013 Remote demo QKD (fibre based Quantum Key demo)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The registration fee is \u20ac 250, reduced to \u20ac 150 for registrations before October 17th, 2022.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Deadline for registrations: November 11th, 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More details: <a href=\"https:\/\/ecosystem.photonhub.eu\/trainings\/product\/?action=view&amp;id_form=7&amp;id_form_data=24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nRegistration: <a href=\"\/?page_id=20001\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On November 18th, 2022 CNR-INO organises a Demo Centre on Quantum Communication Applications in the framework of the project PhotonHub Europe.
