First laser oscillation of 1% at Yb:Sc2O3 and Yb:Lu2O3 ceramics

Abstract: We present the first laser oscillation achieved on 1% at Yb:Sc 2O3 and Yb:Lu2O3 ceramics pumped in QCW at 968 nm. Finally, we compare the obtained performance with results achieved pumping at 940 nm.
